How about this short note, it is interesting to you?

Not a poem, just a short note…..

I just sat on a chair outside my home
Birds singing and flying so high in the sky
Butterflies enjoying from flower to flower
The clouds moving so slowly high in the sky
The fresh air makes my body smooth and soft
I took a pen and a paper, start writing down
All what I saw while I was sitting outside
I feel in sharing all what I thought today
Only to my intimate contacts in this site
So that they will feel happy on me and my note
This blissful thoughts comes to my mind once in a way
Finally, this short not ends in a pleasurable way….

Thoughts about my poem?

What does this mean to you?
and how can I improve it?
and any other thoughts?
**********************************

Just friends you say?
your heart simply feels
for me no other way,
All future hope, surreal?

What a silly thought to think
yesterday’s kiss was everything
but today a wink is just a wink
and that something is now nothing.

Yesterday we had it all
happy as happy can be
while Tomorrow less happy are we
when caught in a bitter brawl

we built a wall of lies
mixed with truth and just a hint
of bloody beauty’s disguise
lasting till our lies no longer bent

What a silly thought to think
that when blinded by a lie:
a wink to you
is a kiss untrue

When taking photography head shots outside in the sun how do I minimize shadows on my subject’s face ?

lilrokey94

I like how the sun illuminates my subject’s face but I don’t like the shadows that are caused by the natural curvature of the subject’s face…

What do you think when you read this poem?

What does it mean when you sneeze a lot?
It means you’re not a queen
What does it mean when you sneeze a lot?
It means you’re in the lead
What does it mean when you sneeze a lot?
It means you have some speed
What does it mean when you sneeze a lot?
It means you are eighteen
What does it mean when you sneeze a lot?
It means you’ve smoked some weed
What does it mean when you sneeze a lot?
It means you’ve eaten chow mein
What does it mean when you sneeze a lot?
It means you’ve weaken your greed
What does it mean when you sneeze a lot?
It means you’re an overfed king

BQ: Do you like it or think it is a good poem?
It does make sense it just understood differently. It makes plenty of sense and not a waste of time. Maybe weird yes, but if you were clever you would know what it means. It isn’t that hard to understand.

How is this short writing like a poem?

Cool and quite

It looks so cool and calm outside my home
I took a chair went out and sat under a tree
I saw many small birds singing and flying happily
Then the butterflies flying happily from flower to flower
I looked up at the blue sky, looks so fresh and silence
Then I started thinking about my Yahoo contacts
How nice they are to me, and to my answers
It is true that I spent most of my leisure in Yahoo Answers
It is because; I love that site very much more than anything
When I am out of mood, then it is Yahoo that takes my boring out
This is just a short writing to say to all my contacts
All what I thought this Saturday morning.
Have a nice weekend.

/Lovely birds
Thanks for reading, and thanks for your comments. It really nice to have such lovely contacts. I like my contacts, they are my blooming blossoms.

I love photography and I take pictures with my camera? Is that a sin?

Can someone draw a picture on a paper?
Can someone Make a model/statue of something?

I’m asking about both living and non-living things!

Good name for a photography business?

I am an amateur photographer with a Canon 60D. I do pictures of nature, pets, and some things here and there for friends and family. My work has been commercially used on a calendar for a local business as well as a for a local company. I need a clever name (yet sophisticated) for my photography business. Any suggestions?

Problems with portrait photography?

Ok, let me explain this right from the start. For the past year or so I have gradually become more interested in photography, for Christmas last year I bought myself the Canon EOS 600D.
I’ve been learning all about the different modes etc and just last week I had an opportunity to show some of the skills I had learned as I was attending a friends wedding.
I was by no means the official photographer, they had paid someone else to do that but I was pretty much copying what he was doing and taking the same group shots that he was during the afternoon.
It was tricky because I didn’t want to muscle in on what he was doing, but I took lots of pictures.

Anyway when I got home and viewed them back the group portraits shots I took are simply awful, focusing issues mainly.

Allow me to explain. I did not have a problem fitting everyone into the frame, I was only using the standard kit lens 18-55mm, I was varying the focal length depending on the amount of people in the shot and I was shooting on manual mode.
I wanted to keep the background blurred and out of focus so I selected an aperture of f5.6 and a shutter speed of 1/250 of a second. It was a moderately sunny day with good light and I felt those settings should offer me decent backgrounds without over exposing the sky etc.
For that part the images worked well, but the focusing issue was the problem.

On the 600D, the focus can be set manually, but I used the 9 point AF system built into the camera. As far as I can tell, you can set it so that it will automatically detect which focus point(s) to use or you can manually select which one. (Only one at a time)
I left it to automatically select, when I was shooting just two people that was fine because the focus was on the face of both of them and they turned out well.
However, once I photographed a group shot the focus got confused, I have some people in focus and others almost as blurred as the background.

So my question is, how could I of avoided that? I understand that I could of selected a small aperture, say F16 in order to keep everything in focus but that would of included the background as well which I didn’t want.

Which settings should I have used?
How should I of been operating the cameras auto focus system?
Should I of been using a different lens?

Advice, comments and criticism greatly received.
The camera has four metering modes, it was on evaluative metering.
